hello there, ive only just registered so im new to this but really dont where to turn to so i would really appreaicate some advice !
well we had a radiator plumbed in ,,in the hallway and he used copper piping behind the wall, but he couln't get one long peice down from the loft so he used 2 peices and then soldered them together.we've only just notived after a few weeks of him leaving that my underlay is soaked under the carpet.we've dried the underlay out ,put it back down but after been holiday for 2 weeks we;ve come back to find yet again that the underlay is soaked again.called plumber today who then say's hes going to fetch some internal leak selant as it might be coming under the skirting board and to see if he can iliminate it,,but to be honest he's been terrible plumber and his he right? and will it work because he doesn't want to knock the wall out to determin where the leak is..but its got to be his handy work and my bolier keeps dropping pressure beacuase there's a leak in the house.
please can anyone tell me is my plumber right?
need uregent advice
