has anyone used root-x on their sewer pipe?

If so, please share your experiences, both good/bad.

We had a problem with roots growing into the sewer pipe (PVC). I am collecting as much info as possible from others.

Also, can roots damage a PVC pipe?

Thanks and have a great day!

I don't recommend any chemicals down the drain. The reason is that I have no evidence any of the products work. I can safely say though, none of these products are as good as a water tight sewer line. IMO, your better off using a jetter periodically to cut out the roots until you replace the pipe. And yes, roots will damage any pipe.
