half Inch gas pipe

Has anyone had a problem with very small seapage of gas through half inch gas pipe joints. If so is there anything to seal the joints. It is not possible to take the joints apart to reseal.

Ayuh,... ANY seepage from a Gas line needs fixin',... Now, not later...
Whether that includes totally redoing it, just just tightening what's loose...

Without taking the joints apart there is NOTHING that will seal them. Don't even think about Mighty Putty or any of that other crap.

I see alot of gas leaks, especially at the equiptment. The gas needs to be turned of to make the repair. Gasoila, RectorSeal, any pipe thread sealant that states "use for gas" will work. Just please, know what you are doing and if you are the least bit unsure, call your plumber or utility company and have them do it for you. You don't often get a second chance to fix a problem like that.:furious:
