Hi everyone, does anyone know how to get the hair out of the tub drain. I cannot get my hand down the hole to pull out the hair it is all wrapped around the little drain thing about 2 inches down. thanks kenney
If it's an older style tub like mine, you can remove the two screws from the overflow plate. Attached to the plate is the lever to switch from tub to shower. Gently pull the plate away from the tub and pull up on the rod that is attached to the plate and lever. The rod goes down to the drain and has a curly springlike piece attached to it. That curly piece is what collects the hair. Clean it and put it back in the same way it came out. This should be done at least twice a year, depending on how many people are in your family.
Good Luck
