My hot water cyliner seems to be leaking albeit a small drip but never the less a leak.
I can`t see any obvious source but it apperas to be from underneath and running to form a drip at the lip of the base of the cylinder.
Is there such a thing as a radweld (auto repair thingy) type fix it for what must be a very slight hole or is it a new cylinder job.
If a new cylinder job, then is this a big job in itself or quite straight forward?????
PS. All plumbing advice appreciated, water is not my strong point
Is it a copper or galvanised cylinder? Sometimes one of the unions can leak and the water will appear elsewhere. If it were the cylinder leaking there is no alternative but to replace the cylinder, if water is not your strong point I would not try it yourself. If you are in the U.K cylinder replacement comes under building control.
