Grinder pump info

new house was preped for basement bath. all plumbing is stubbed through concrete, question is this, up in ceiling, i have 1 -2" capped off, 1-1/2" capped off. what would these be for? they go up through the floor, I would assume the 1- 1/2" is a vent line, however the 2" puzzles me. My main line going to septic tank is right above crock. what might the 2" line be for/ please advise... thanks

are you saying the line going to the tank is above the basement?

is there a sewage bucket installed in the basement floor?

yes the crock is in the floor w/ all plumbing stubbed under the concrete, approx 6' up from floor 4" pipe exits home to septic tank. at ceiling height other pipes come down and tie into exit pipe. however i have a 1.5" pipe coming through upstairs floor downword into base ment capped off, and a 2" pipe right next to it capped off. the home was built 4 years ago, and i can't for the life of me recall what they said these are for. they are directly above area for basement bath/ grinder crock. i have yet to install bathroom or grinder crock itself . but going to soon as i figure this out. might have to try to call contractor back for imput

That's not a bad idea. If it's a rough for a bathroom the vent for the three fixtures would need to be 2" so if only one of them is a vent my money is on the 2".
Are both lines vertical? If they are they are likely vent lines as you should never have a vertical drain line capped at the bottom. I can't see leaving a vent line capped at the bottom either though.
