Greetings to HIF members: Stanorth is with you
Howdy: I'm a plumber here in western Montana and having to deal with my first automatic Sloan flush valves at a big athletic club that opened up recently. They are having all kinds of problems with them: flush all the time, won't flush at all, dead batteries in a month or two, when they are supposed to last for 3000 flushes. I've taken them apart a dozen times, I've never found any sand or dirt in them. Half the time just disassembling it and reassembling it makes it work for a while. They are on a well and have a very good filter on the incoming water. Any ideas?
Thanks Stanorth

I think there is a set pressure required for them to operate properly, if that perssure drops below the requirment then problems occur.

Contact Sloan and ask them for operating specs. They will know why there failing to work corectly.
