Goofy toilet noise

wannabetoolgirl Newbie   Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 2	Goofy toilet noise My toilet is making a whistling sound when I flush it. Does anyone know what that might be. I just bought this home built in 1992 and I'm thinking it may be a worn out part that I might be able to replace myself. Thanks for any help!

Replace the fill valve in the tank with a Fluidmaster 400a float-cup type. It costs less than $10 bucks most places, and comes with easy illustrated installation instructions. Good Luck! Mike
