Gas Water Heater w/ Electric ignition - no pilot
Hi All,
I have an American Commercial DCG3 Series Gas hot water heater - replaced the Pilot valve, and pilot ignition assembly. The pilot ignition sparks, the pilot lights , the main gas valve opens, hot water is heated - GREAT! I turn down the thermostat , it turns off , turn it up , pilot lights everything works fine. I run out the hot water it cools down and the pilot does not light... The Ignition control module (ICM) is sending 24vac to the pilot valve, the pilot valve is brand new (Resistance is across the Pilot solenoid), THe pilot tube is clear, the electric ignition is arcing....but the pilot light does not light??? What is going on ?? I am baffled?? Please help |
