Foul smelling water from bathroom faucet?

So, I have two sinks/faucets in my bathroom but this only happens with one of them. When I open the faucet, hot or cold, the water has a foul smell to it, like something rotten. It only lasts a short time. The smell goes away after running the water for 10-20 seconds. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Is your main water being supplied to the house drawing from a well?

Just a wild guess but take a look at the supply lines for the affected faucet. Are they plastic? There are many different kinds of tubing used for supply lines, but I'll used plastic as a generic term.
