Forced Hot Water Heat

Hi Guys,

I just finished off half of my basement. I need to install heat and was planning on tapping into my lower zone (I have two zones). I have forced hot water. The space is 330 square feet. How much baseboard do I need?

Thanks

Forced Hot Water Heat

Wow, there's a loaded question. How well insulated are the basement walls? Floor? Passageway to unfinished half? How hot do you want it? And do you want it hot all the time? It's not just about the SF, wish it was.

Can't help on the sizing, but I would look at adding another zone. Shouldn't cost that much more, and you can then control it separately from the first floor heat.
