Flux question

I have always used the flux that is "beeswax" in color and actually the texture of the stuff reminds me of wax. I had bought a new propane canister, and it came w/ some solder and flux. The flux that came with it looks like white hand lotion...only doesn't even seem as thick as hand lotion. Is this stuff any good? It says "lead free" or something like that. I am scared to use it because it is so different. Thoughts?

Flux question

Is this for sweating copper pipes? If so, it's the water based stuff and is just fine for your water pipes.

But if this is for electronics....wrong stuff.....you want flux for ckt board use....just don't eat or drink off the ckt board.
