Fleck Water Softener not softening & too much water in brine tank

I hope someone can help. Our water softener has quit generating softened water for about 2 weeks now. My husband doesn't want to mess with it and instead go by a new one. I think it can be fixed, so I want to see if anyone can offer me some advice. The brine tank is about 3/4 full of water. I'm thinking it's not pulling the salt water in the the tank during generation. I've seen several sites on the internet that say to clean the flow control, but I can't find anything that tells me how to do this. If anyone could help with this it would be GREATLY appreciated.

You can try Ohiopurewaterco.com, call for help with your Fleck control. They have helped me with mine.
