Fiber floor under shower stall base?

I'm replacing a shower stall and will be putting down Tarkett fiber floor in the area. (it is a kind of linoleum that you don't glue down.

My question is should I put the flooring under the full shower base right up to the corners of the walls or just cut it up to the edge of the base?

Any thought on what is best or normal would be appreciated! Thanks!

Fiber floor under shower stall base?

that is a floating floor so i would cut it along shower curb
right out off installation instructions

"> Do not install cabinets on top of FiberFloorŽ when using the Glueless Installation "

i would consider shower pan the same as cabinet

Fiber floor under shower stall base?

I used the same stuff in the bathroom I am building. I have installed the base on top of the floor. I will see what happens and if need be I will cut the outline of the base and vanity. I can't understand why it really matters. it can't contract expand that much in a controlled temperature environment.

I think he was wanting to use the pan to hold the edges down and help keep water out of there.

Fiber floor under shower stall base?

Personally Ive always prefered to install the vinyl under base of toilet or anything else possible to help hold the edges down, then just caulked around it.
Im no master vinyl guy though!
