ferncos !

Is there any reason I shouldn't use ferncos to connect ABS to ABS? I found a bunch of them left over from some other thing and I'm running out of my glue'm together couplers.

i was taught not to use fernco's above ground b/c they don't properly support the pipe

I do not think there is anything wrong with using ferncos, but you will need to put a few extra hangers to make sure the pipe stays square. It is true glue joints are more rigid, but I believe it will be fine.
