I have a leaking toilet who's wax seal is all beat up, so I'm going with a Fernco Wax-free seal to remedy the slight leak I'm getting from around the bottom of my toilet.
I measured the horn of the toilet and it's 3", but my drain pipe's interior dimensions side to side are 4", I don't really think this 3" seal is going to seal correctly, there seems to be too much room side to side for it to seal right.
Any one else tried this seal going from 3" to 4" and have it work out OK? I know they make a 4" and a 4"x3" seal, should I go with one of those instead? Maybe get a spacer between the flange and the seal?
