fernco to ABS underground?

tomorrow i plan on connecting a new drain line to the old orangeburg pipe in the ground that runs to the septic.
is it OK to put a rubber fernco under ground for this purpose?
for that matter ABS?
will be about 70 feet of ABS, connecting to the orangeburg with an ABS Wye into fernco couplings.

thanks.

fernco to ABS underground?

ferncos are fine outside the foundation. should be no problem. Consider getting rid of the OB too while your in the ditch- bad stuff.

I've never had any luck getting a 4" plastic fernco on orangeberg. Asbestos Cementxplastic fernco fits perfectly, if you can find it

fernco to ABS underground?

I agree with TheEplumber, do yourself a favor and get rid of all the Orangeburg. If you're going through all that trouble you might as well. How far is the run? 10' or so?

ABS is perfectly fine underground, I think here if it's shallower than 3' it's required by code.
