TheEplumber call me E     Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: Idaho Posts: 3,877	faucet turns on by itself I have actually seen this happen on a brand new Chicago faucet I installed in a school renovation. Water would start dribbling out in the middle of art class. I tightened the packing nut-problem solved.
