Faucet Sprayer
I recently bought a faucet with a sprayer. The sink we have has 4 total holes. The 3 holes are taken for the faucet itself, and the remaining hole is being used for what looks like the vent for the dishwasher and disposal.
I was going to punch a 5th hole for the sprayer but I wanted to know if theres any other option to move / remove the vent and put the sprayer there instead. If I had to punch a hole it would be to the left of the faucet. Any thoughts?

Faucet Sprayer
Check with your Building Inspection Department to see if a dishwasher air gap is required by local code.
If it isn't, you can do away with that one, and just loop a solid dishwasher drain hose over the top of the dishwasher before connecting it to the drain or compactor. Then you can put the sprayer in that hole. Otherwise, you'll have to drill another hole for the sprayer. Good Luck! Mike |
