Faucet nut behind deep kitchen sink

So as long as I've had my deep basin kitchen sink, I have been unable to securely tighten the nut that fastens the faucet to it. Are there tips or tricks to this?
The space is too small to get an adjustable wrench in there, and I'm not sure a crescent wrench would even work (I don't have one big enough anyway). I have strong fingers and am able to tighten it enough to make it usable. But a key feature of the faucet is that it swivels, which eventually loosens the nut (and the handle then becomes quite loose and wont stay in the on position; friends call it the auto-shutoff faucet).

Thanks
-Don

Yep, basin wrench will work. Remember that the head flips, depending on which way you are planning on turning. They do make them with the shaft that extends, or with longer shafts. Usually kept in the plumbing aisle at big orange, Lowe's, Ace Hardware.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
