Hello. I have a kitchen faucet with two handles that mounts vertically through my vintage sink. The hot water handle started to turn beyond normal to turn off the hot water this morning. After a few uses, it basically spins and spins. I can effect shut off by putting some pressure on the handle but this will be short-lived, I am sure. It is easy enough to replace the whole faucet but I wondered if I could possibly do a repair on the handle?
Thanks for any help on this.
My son seems to have fixed it and I still can't understand how. He just turned it and turned it clockwise until it was tight again and now it is fine. I have no idea how it got "untight" but there it is. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it.
