epoxy for very minor pipe joint drip?

Water heater joint drips one drop per minute. Is there an epoxy to seal a small drip..? Surface will be wet or moist.
Any ideas..?

It depends on where its dripping from. It may be rusting through and the drip could be a small sign of bigger things to come.

What area is the drip coming from?

Edit: I guess I need to learn to read more carefully I just noticed you said "joint"
Then I have to ask what type of joint? Copper, pvc, pex?

I'll add to the questions: sweat, threaded, union?
