Electric hot water on demand! Is it good?

i am building a home in winnipeg canada and have heard a bit about these hot water on demand systems but only about the gas ones. I researched one made by american tankless water heater company. i would purchase the largest model 27kw. i simply am wondering if anyone out there is using this electric system and if they are happy with it .Can you run 2 large draws at once (laundry and shower)? , does pressure keep up? any help amongst this topic would be greatly appreciated.thanks

That's the largest residential electric tankless unit I know if. Do a search in this forum for "tankless" and you'll find more information and discussion. I've got an elec. tankless and love it, but our usage is low, electricity is cheap, and I would bet our incoming water temp is warmer than yours. You'll need a minimum 200amp service to install, and a minimum water temp of 45-50F to use two fixtures simulateously. You might check out a larger gas unit if your water temp is too low.
