electric hot water baseboard heaters.
I am not sure if this question would fall plumming, but here it goes.
The house that I have resalinty purchased has an electric boiler with hot water baseboard heaters to heat the house. Now I am looking into removing this as it only has 3 zones I think its called. I don't want to have the heat on in all three bedrooms when I am only in one. So to remove it, is it as simple as turning it off draining the water and taking out the pipes and registers?

do you have another heat source also if not might be cheaper to separate the rooms into separite zones then add new heat system

We are going to install electec baseboard heaters and later this year a hear pump. The registers that are in the rooms are huge almost the whole length of the wall and in a few rooms take up two walls

so you are removing all water heat so shut off water supply and electric and demo out all of it

where are you located and how are the electric rates in going HP and electric baseboard.might consider using the HP as first stage of heating and the boiler/baseboard as secondary heating stage when that HP goes into defrost

As said before the baseboard water heaters take up way to much room. They go around corners and in some cases 10 feet long. We want baseboard heaters to be able to control each rooms temp.
