Electric heater: hot water comes out cold side


Hello, could some one tell me what might be the problem when
I turn on the coldside faucet and get hot water as long as run it.
This has been going on about a week I noticed, and still can't figure
out what causes it . Thi electric heater's has been working pretty
good for the past six years and it's just now acting up. I did not have
any pluming done lately but all the certaint the hot water comes out
from the cold side, please help!

Water may be crossing over from nhot to cold at a shower or bathtub or washing machine. To stop this,

1. Turn off the shower using its faucets and not the shower head.
2. Turn off the washing machine faucets when the machine is not in use.

The good conscientious technician or serviceperson will carry extra oils and lubricants in case the new pump did not come with oil or the oil was accidentally spilled, so the service call can be completed without an extra visit.
