easy dishwasher air gap unplugging ideas?
I have a fairly new kitchen and new dishwasheer. Even in this fancy dishwasher I Occasionally something gets through the drain filters and plugs up my air gap. I then have to take everything under the sink out so I can get in some awkward position under it to loosen the hose clamp to remove the dishwasher drain from the air gap to clear them. This happens every couple months.
Is there any kind of quick disconnect solution I put inline the dishwaer drain to make it easier to unplug or is this just something I have to live with. |

easy dishwasher air gap unplugging ideas?
This may or may not work... one of the Journeyman plumbers at our shop come across your problem every so often. Usually he can remedy the problem by shortening your air gap hose. Is yours long or kinked? Just a thought.
