DWV System

I just got a 2nd floor addition. Im running low on my budget and now I have to do the plumbing myself. Im allowed to pull my own permit because its my house. My house currently has the first floor bathroom sink, toilet, and bath tied into the 3" vertical stack/vent in the middle. Therefore after some code reading, I think its easier to redo the plumbing in both bathrooms. I am located in PA. Is this a good plan for DWV to get a permit?

DWV? what does that mean?

drain-waste-vent (or DWV) is part of a system that removes sewage from a building and regulates air pressure in the waste-system pipes

Do you have to submit a drawing?

yes. I did it real quick with Photoshop. I want to know if that was the best layout to drain and vent. This is the current DWV layout of my house.

Won't fly with UPC either. One reason is the upper floor fixtures cannot drain into a vent

Where is an upper floor fixture draining into a vent? Looks to me like they all drain to the main stack.

Which is being used as a vent unless you revent the fixtures above flood level of highest fixture :)
