Ductile Iron-Fire Hydrant
I recently completed on project with a fire-hydrant that required a little bit of ductile iron cutting. I was using my stihl ts-420 with a 14inch all purpose pipe blade that I picked up from my local shop. I inquired to myself if there was a better quality product that could get the job done for cheaper, which is what landed me on this site. One of my friends invited me out to one of his projects to show me how he did his cutting. He was using a Husq K-760 with a blue ductile blade he had picked up from a wholesaler. He tried to sell me on this blade, telling me it would do wonders, but I didn't buy it. The blade he was using was from a company called World Diamond Source, if anyone has heard of the company and has feedback let me know. Also, if you know any other company such as Detroit Industrial, Diamond Blade Warehouse, and have feedback on their tools as well please let me know! I'm trying to find out where I can get the most bang for my buck while still getting the quality of cut I need.
Thanks |
