when I run water in the kitchen sink on the right (the disposal is under this sink) after about 20 seconds I hear bubbling (best way to describe it) coming from the left sink. Is this due to water filling up the disposal? Is this normal?
Do you have a dishwasher? Where is the dishwasher's waste water line attached to your under-the-sink plumbing? Some adapters for dishwasher disposal have a sort of baffle built into them to prevent water coming from upstream from entering the dishwasher disposal line. IF you have a dishwasher, and the dishwasher disposal line is attached after the sink(s), this may slow down the output of water from the sink(s). I would say the "bubbling or gurgling" sound is normal and a sure-fire way to know your vent is working. Thanks, David
