Drilling into concrete foundation to remove cast iron drain pipe

Does anyone know what exactly I would do to remove the cast iron from the foundation from the outside wall of the house. Would a jack hammer be the tool to use? I am worried about cracking the foundation or having cracks show up in other places in the house when I drill into it. I have already removed most of the cast iron from the wall. I just have this elbow piece that goes down into the foundation and under the house which comes out into the ground.

A picture would help---for delicate concrete work --you might do well to rent a concrete chipping hammer--this is like a hand held jack hammer.

You should be able to open up enough concrete to get out the old pipe and install a new one withou causing any big problems with your foundation.
