Drill-damaged Copper Water Pipe

Hello and thanks for any support.
This weekend I drilled into my drywall to run some electric cable. I drilled onto a copper water pipe and left an indentation. There is no water leak.
What are the chances of this ever leaking/bursting..?
If there is a risk, what is the best method of repairing this - cutting and rejoining with a sweat-joint?

drills, if spinning, don't make dents, they remove material. Depending on how much material was removed, it might not ever be a problem or it might be on the verge of spraying water all over right now.

How to fix:

cut the pipe and insert a coupling and solder.

As the previous poster mentioned you probably thinned the copper in that spot. I would definitely cut out the section and make a repair.

Additionally, an "indentation" in the pipe is like a rock in a stream. The water will slowly deteriorate the copper, thinning it further over time, and will inevitably leak.

repipe the entire house........ wrap it a couple of times with some electrical tape/duct tape evenly then add a couple of radiator clamps go spend you money on something else
