Drainage problems-manufactured home
Hi: We are in a 2005 Double-wide manufactured home. The master bath and powder room(off the laundry room) seem to be draining fine. The full bath at the opposite end of the house will seem to drain correctly, then start bubbling from sink, tub, and toilet. It even backs up debris. We used a 50 foot snake on it today, but it still doesn't drain properly. The snake didn't seem to meet with any obstruction. HELP. Thanks in advance. Ellen

There probably is a buildup of hair and other gunk that the plumber's snake is just punching through and not removing. It's just breaking up debris.
Get a good non-caustic, enzyme-based drain cleaner like DrainCare. It won't harm the fixtures, pipes or you, but it WILL eat out all of the organic gunk and get the drain working properly.
Run warm water down the drain, pour in the DrainCare per the directions, let it eat overnight, and then flush it all down with hot water. I start the flushing with a kettle of boiling water and then just let the hot water run until the drain flows freely.
If the clog is really bad, you may have to do it more than once, but it has always worked for me.
Good Luck!
