Drainage problems kitchen sink only.

Second floor kitchen sink won't drain. Ran 50 feet of snake with no apparant obstructions and also ran 20 ft down vent pipe from roof vent just overhead kitchen roof. Rehooked sink pipes to wall drain, filled sink with water and it stops draining after 1 inch or about a gallon once released. I'm clueless. Any Ideas?

You most likely went right through the blockage (grease/sludge). You need to run it back and forth in a scrubbing motion within the first several feet or so. Put some bends in the end of your cable so it looks like this: VVVVV

If you don't want to keep messin' around with the trap, fill the sink with water, and have someone watch or listen as you cable from the roof vent.
