drain stuck how to remove

I have just finished my2nd dry pack mortar bed in my walk-in shower, As I was putting in the mortar I kept moving the drain so it wouldn't get stuck.
Early this morning I went to unscrew it and it's stuck. How do I losen it now there is not enough room under to get my fingers under Help please.

A drop cloth isen't to catch paint, It's to protect what is under so wipe the drips as you go and don't track.

Post a picture.

Fix it right the first time, so you won't have to fix it a 2nd time.
