drain problem

our plumbing recently started acting up nothing has been down the drain that wasnt supposed to, and nothing is stopped up....but a few days ago it started...everytime you flush the toilet the kitchen sink makes a gargling noise..no other sinks do it just the kitchen...any ideas what is making this happen ?? the house has a septic system...the house itself sits about 5" off of the dirt so i hope i dont have to go under there

The gurgling is indicative of a fixture that isn't vented or the vent is obstructed. It might be worth running a drain snake down your roof vents to see if there's a blockage (dead squirrel, leaves, etc).

It is possible, even though it would be against code. You should see it right above the toilet since this is how house plumbing is normally run. If not, then you need to check the attic. The vent contains sewer gases and they are dangerous. This is why they are required to be run out of the roof. You may have had a critter in the attic that fell down the vent.
