Drain help please!

What kind of drain do I need for this sink?

It doesn't look like it will be able to extend very far into the base due to where the overflow comes in. The size of the drain hole is about 1 5/8".

More to the point, I am really wondering how the drain will be kept in place.

Thanks for your assistance.

Thank you danpik...I wasn't sure how the overflow would be contained, but I see now that there appears to be an inlet between the top and bottom of those fittings.

Thank you again.

I wish I had seen this thread, I just threw one of those drain fittings away, I think I did, If you still need one I will check and see.
