Double Sink Drain - P-Trap layout?

The sink, without the Garbage Disposal, never drained properly. Does it need to be higher the P-Trap outgoing pipe? Any suggestions?????

Double Sink Drain - P-Trap layout?

Thanks Ben Sr.! I have no idea if it's vented, but was worried that the "venting" from the garbage disposal wasn't letting the other sink drain.
I like the 2 p-trap idea!

Double Sink Drain - P-Trap layout?

Get rid of that mess, double trap is best but not necessary get rid of that flex according crap, come down from the strainer the tee off to the disposal, you'll have to relocate the trap to fall under the strainer side a 45 should do the trick, watch the tubular tee some of them have a baffle if you install it upside down you'll have draining issues,

Love to know where you found that accordion pipe coming off the disposal.... I do not remember having that on any disposals I installed. Try cleaning the cross bars in your sink stopper. Single traps never caused a problem for me if sink was vented.
