Double Handle versus Single Handle kitchen faucet

Hi, I am remodeling my home for resale. Have been looking at kitchen faucets. It seems the most attractive ones are the double handle faucet type but have never used those in the kitchen. Is there a favorite that most people agree they like in the kitchen? Does one outsell the other? Anyone know?? Again, looks versus functionality! Thanks in advance!

Single handle is easily more convenient. It may not matter in the sale of your house, but the buyers will be cursing you once they move in and start using it.

Single Handle -- you can turn it on with your elbow when your hands are covered in unsavory-cooking-mess. (Also, the one's with the integrated pull out sprayer are awesome.)

Go with the Single Handle, they look much nicer. I just installed a single handle with pull out spray handle by Delta.

Definitley single handle for the kitchen as mentioned. Much cleaner looking and functional. Moen with the pull out sprayer is nice but pricey..

If its for resale, I would have to concur and vote for the Delta. Good price and quality.

Double Handle versus Single Handle kitchen faucet

My personal preference has been fully met by Hansgrohe Metro. Single handle is a lot more convenient than double, as more often than not, when you need to adjust temp/flow, you are holding something in one hand and have only one hand free. And yeah, you can control it without using fingers.

I much perfer the tall arching faucet as opposed to pictured Delta, since you can stick a tall pot under it easily without having to use the pullout. A super-tall gourmet faucet is an overkill, but something like Metro is just right.

A pull-down action with thumb up button for spray for me is a winner vs. pull-out. A lot more ergonomic.

But of course, if you are about to sell the house, just get the cheapest faucet that looks nice.
