Does this look like a main shut-off valve

I live in a condo. This the only thing that resembles a shut-off to me. What do you think?

Need a better picture showing more of the space. If it was my guess, I would turn it to close it, and see if the water stops in the unit. Then you know that it is the main shut off.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
