Does this look like a main shut-off valve


I live in a condo. This the only thing that resembles a shut-off to me. What do you think?

Its sitting behing the water heater....forgot to mention that.

Does this look like a main shut-off valve


Need a better picture showing more of the space. If it was my guess, I would turn it to close it, and see if the water stops in the unit. Then you know that it is the main shut off.
