I am having someone replace a faucet on a pedestal sink for me. The job is a little complicated so I would rather have someone else do it. The person that I may hire recommended replacing the supply lines. (He has not looked at the job yet). Should I take his advice? Thank you.
depends on pipe and age pex is a fairly new product but you are gonna have to replace some because it is a compression fitting so it wont come off unless you cut at the fitting, and the pipe will swell so you wont be able put on a new fitting.
"Pex is a very flexible pipe that replaces copper now we have zurn which is the same idea but not compression just a metal ring"
agree with mike you lost us some where between supply and pex ring
