Do I caulk???

I am looking to re-caulk my shower basin. I noticed that previous home owner caulked over 2 holes or small groves in the pan where the pan meets the tiled wall. they almost look like they would be some kind of drain or wheeper since the grove is angled down towards the inside of the basin. Should these be caulked or not?

Mike...caulk them.

Remove the old caulk and replace with a mildew resistant caulking.

No shower has weep holes above the floor (weep holes are at the drain assembly under the concrete).

Good luck.
