Look no matter who's responsible for the plumbing in the walls your getting blamed for that one. If you report it and they inspect it your going to go through hell even though you say you opened the wall they will say you should have called us to open the wall. Your better off making the repair your self and
forgetabotit.

I say just slap a metric ass-ton of RTV around the cracked bits and let it cure.
