Distance of water heater from incoming cold water main

I'm in the process of moving the water inlet (main) from one end of my house to another so I could install a acid neutralizer and filter system in my garage. My main house water line is 3/4" copper runs from one end of my home to the other with bathroom and kitchen branched off of that. Currently, the 1" poly water line in from the well connects very close to the hot water heater in my crawl space. If I move this 1" poly line, and tap into the 3/4" main cold pipe on the other end, would there be any issues with the hot water heater being on the other side? I'm thinking its all relative but just wanted to double check. Thanks

the cold can go anyplace from the street to it,the closer it is to the usage points shower espeically the better the hot water will be dishes and or washer isn't as critical

As long as supply line to it is big enough,shouldnt be an issue
