Disposal Mystery...

Anyone run into this before?

Dual sinks. Garbage disposal is functioning but sink won't drain. Motor is running, blades are turning, but water is backed up into the sink.

Drain pipe is not clogged anywhere along the line. When I remove the small 90 degree tube from the disposal and poke a screwdriver into the opening water pours out.

Weird

Disposal Mystery...

Disposal is the culprit. If it is old, time to change it out. You can take it outside and flush with a couple of buckets of hot water, after pouring Baking Soda & Vinegar into it and letting it sit for about ten min's.

The disposal is clogged inside.
