Difficult to carry/install water heater in Attic?
I called Sears the other day for the cost of intalling a
water heater in the attic of my two-story house. They said it will be an extra of $100 (on top of $229) for the installation. I was a bit surprised with the extra cost. My attic has a foldable stair to access it. How do professionals carry the heater (160 LBs) into the attic? Do they have special eqip to do that? It does seem to be difficut without any equip, though. thanks, SZ |

It takes two to handle it, that where the extra cost comes in at, no reason to get surprized over that.
