Different faucets, different temperatures

So, our new bathroom is all up and in use, but we've run in to a weird issue. The hot water that comes out of the sink faucet is hotter than the water that comes out of the tub faucet.

The tub valve does have a scald guard, but I have it set to the maximum point where water still comes through...if that makes any sense.

The sink is closer to the water heater than the tub, but the hot water at the kitchen sink (last in line 20 feet after the tub) also gets hotter than the tub. Any thoughts on all of this?

most likley the tub faucet even set max on the scald guard would not be as hot as a faucet with out one...

What is the brand / model of faucet on the tub with scald guard?

If you have a thermometer, measure the water temperature at both the tub and the sinks. What are they?

Then next is to google the faucet manufacturer and read the faucet instructions / specifications or call them and see if there is a maximum temperature it can adjust to and no higher?

Single handle faucet on the sink? Check the installation of the cartridge. How about your cold water in that sink...is it cold as the tub or not? There are instances where the cartridge can be installed improperly and allow mixing when opened.
