Delta valve placement


Installing a DELTA R10000-UNBX universal valve and kind of confused about instructions, age has effected my eyes. The plaster guard as shown in picture is my concern. I have it installed to end at my finished wall, should it end behind durock ? I interpret instructions both ways.

Delta valve placement


I installed plasterguard flush with finish wall, tile in my case.
