Delta shower faucet acrylic surround question

The center of the tub walls is not the same as where the drain is. So, should i put the faucet spout and shower head in the center of the walls? or should i put them offset on the walls to be inline with the drain and overflow?

I'd line them up woth the drian and overflow.

Aesthetically they'll look much better if they line-up with the drain. Pros line them up with the drains for visual appeal.
