delta faucet repaired but keeps leaking

Hello out there! I recently repaired a Delta single handled kitchen faucet. Washers, springs, o-rings, cam washers etc. Problem is it works for a few hours and then starts leaking out of the spout. Real bad! I have taken it apart and reseated everything with the same result. What baffles me is that if everything was not seated right to begin with it would start leaking right away but it takes a while. Any thoughts?

thanks

replace the shaft with the ball on it also try stretching the springs a little to put more pressure on those rubbers

also replace the ball. There is a plastic nut(top ball washer) on top with slots for a spanner, that will put more pressure on the ball.
