I just located the replacement stems I needed for failed valves in my two-handle shower. I installed them OK; but I assumed the info on the side of the package would tell me what handle set to use. (Universal set came off) In fact is has a handle drawing with a numeral "4" in the center of it. I went over to the HD last night to get such a set. The ones available- mostly Danco products, were no coded with numbers. There was a book and a sample stem set; but I did not bring the stems in for a fit as they were already installed.
The pkg info as it relates to "handle" is:
Bibb Screw: 16
Handle Screw: 34
Handle Bushing: 22
Any idea where I can cross ref this to get the right handle the first trip?
It is made by plumbmaster, Inc. A replacement for "Central Brass". The plumbmaster part no. is 05104P
